Did You Know?

We all know that summertime is the busiest time for traveling but did you know that the amount of time that people spend on travel has been consistent at 1 hour and 6 minutes per person per day in all societies? The average distance traveled is 7,400 miles per year. In total, the world population travels more than 16.6 trillion miles per year, 53% of which is by car, 26% by bus, 9% by rail, 9% by high-speed transport such as airplanes, 3% by bicycle/boat and on average a person takes about 2 million steps in a year.

'Bye the way'

Neighbor to NeighborIf you're still a Kroger shopper we want you to know that there's a NEW program being offered at your local Kroger store. You may remember the Kroger Share Card program where a portion of your grocery total went back to AIDS Arms every time you had your Share Card scanned. If you're like most people, you would often forget to have the card scanned or simply lose the card, but have you ever lost your Kroger Plus card? Chances are it's right on your key chain or linked to your phone number, right? Well Kroger now has a way to LINK your Kroger Plus card to your non-profit, AIDS Arms. It's ONE easy step and that's to print out the Neighbor to Neighbor Customer Letter, take it with you on your next Kroger visit, present it to your cashier and VOILA, you're LINKED! Each and every time after that you use your Kroger Plus card it will help AIDS Arms receive more money from the new Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor program!
