Did You Know?
Music Heals Pets Too
Does music soothe you when you need to relax or unwind? Did you know that the same affects are being noticed in our furry friends too? One harpist from Oregon says the music on her CD is the most healing to our best friends next to the human voice. Click here to learn more.

Leaders of the Pack
Create a new team

Ok we're looking for new teams this year for LifeBark to help make it another successful year. Tons of people, lots of other doggies, puppy pools and all the walking a dog could want. What dog wouldn't want to be a part of that? All those little waggin' tails are just begging to come to LifeBark 2008 but can't without mommies and daddies creating new teams. It's simple, fun and easy to make a team and your little bundle(s) of joy will be very happy you did. To start a new LifeBark team please contact Brandon Dowdy at bdowdy@aidsarms.org.

LIFEBARK 2008

Event:   LifeBark

WhenSunday, October 5th, 2008

Where: Lee Park, Dallas, Texas at Turtle Creek and Lemmon Ave.

What:   Scenic 3.2 mile route through beautiful Turtle Creek

Why: LifeBark / LifeWalk supports the needs for real people living with HIV/AIDS in your community. The proceeds help to educate the community regarding this pervasive epidemic and how it impacts everyone. Raising money to support ongoing HIV/AIDS services is a way to show support for loved ones who are fighting the disease, or walk in memory of those who have been lost. Plus, we award fantastic prizes to the top fundraising individuals.

Each year we encourage our canine friends to come out and walk with their owners. This year the pooches have decided to join the cause and form their own fundraising teams.
